The Rio Oil & Gas is a conference of the oil and gas industry together with an exhibition, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro and is been organized by the Brazilian petroleum, gas and biofuel Institute (IBP). Every two years, it attracts key professionals and managers who are on the lookout for new technologies and management practices in the oil and gas industry and brought Rio de Janeiro the reputation of the "Brazilian oil capital". In fact, the State of Rio de Janeiro is the largest oil producer in Brazil and one of the major gas producers in the country. Exhibits include the latest technological developments and innovations in the oil and gas industry. The conference program includes technical sessions, panels and plenary sessions. Here important technological issues are discussed and innovative ideas are promoted. This event allows exhibitors and visitors of the show to share their experience, to establish or expand contacts and to support the market growth of the industry.
