The press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan made an announcement on 14 December that the Bank had added the Chinese yuan to the list of currencies for which official daily exchange rates are published. The announcement said that the National Bank's Board of Governors adopted a resolution amending the rules for the official exchange rate of foreign currencies to the country's currency. From September 1, 2024, the official exchange rate of the yuan to the Kyrgyz som will be published daily. Currently, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan publishes daily official exchange rates for the dollar, the Russian ruble, the euro and the Kazakhstan tenge, and weekly rates for other currencies such as the yuan."
