Ibatech is an international trade fair for the bread, pasta, ice cream and chocolate industry. It takes place annually, alternating between Istanbul and Ankara and is open to trade visitors only. Turkey has the world's highest per capita consumption of baked goods with an annual increase in trading volume, which leads to an increase in the brand and distribution systems of this industry. This is where the Ibatech steps in allowing global companies to gain access to the Turkish market and neighboring states as well as to Africa, offering the opportunity to develop new markets and establishing international contacts. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 14. April to 17. April 2016, about 74500 visitors on the Ibatech in Istanbul.
