China will be the biggest importer of Ukrainian agricultural products in 2019, accounting for 8.7% of Ukraine's total agricultural exports, exceeding India, which has topped the list for three consecutive years.


Ukraine's main agricultural exporters include Egypt ($1.647 billion), India ($1.547 billion), Turkey ($1.544 billion), the Netherlands ($1.476 billion), Spain ($1.199 billion), Germany ($871 million), Poland ($785 million), Italy ($716 million), belarus ($605 million). Imports of Ukrainian agricultural products from China, Egypt and Turkey increased by more than 50 percent year on year.


In 2019, the products of the agro-industrial complex accounted for 44.6% of Ukraine's total exports. In 2019, uzbekistan exported 56.7 million tons of grain and 6.1 million tons of sunflower oil.


In 2019, Ukraine exported us $9.4 billion (us $8 billion in 2018) of agricultural products to Asian countries, accounting for 42.2%. Ukraine's agricultural exports to the eu were $7.5bn, up 19 per cent year-on-year and $6.3bn in 2018. The eu accounts for 33.5% of Ukraine's total agricultural exports. Exports to Africa reached 3.3 billion us dollars, up 44.3% year on year and accounting for 14.9%. Exports to cis countries amounted to us $1.5 billion, accounting for 6.5%.
